LIVONIA, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) – Schoolcraft College in Livonia introduced its latest members to its workers: 5 puppies that may function campus consolation companions.
The puppies are at the moment being educated at Lucky Labs in Ontario and can transfer on the faculty within the spring. They will begin their new position as “in-training” consolation dogs within the fall.
College officers say the provides shall be assigned to a Schoolcraft police officer.
“These new consolation dogs will serve an important position right here at Schoolcraft College after they arrive. Their presence will convey smiles to faces and assist our college students and workers take a second to easily recharge and rejuvenate with fun-loving vitality that solely a canine can convey,” Glenn Cerny, president of Schoolcraft College, mentioned in a press release. “We’re wanting ahead to having them on campus and enhancing the lives of our college students, school and workers.”
Before they’ll arrive, the faculty is asking the general public to assist title the puppies. Voting begins at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27. Some names embody Lottie, Copper, Justice, Maple, and Hops.
