A roaming dog was put down after authorities stated it bit a lady numerous times in Palm Springs Friday afternoon.

The event occurred on the 1200 block of E Palm Canyon Drive at around Twelve noon.

A 55-year-old Desert Hot Springs lady who operates in the location was assaulted by a roaming dog on the home, according to Lt. Gustavo Araiza of the Palm Springs Authorities Department.

Araiza stated the dog seemed a Pit Bull Terrier mix that was around 2 years of ages and weighed near 90 pounds.

The lady was bitten numerous times by the dog prior to another individual had the ability to eliminate it and protect it in a space up until law enforcement officer got here.

Araiza validated that the lady was required to the medical facility with major however non-life-threatening injuries.
