The event occurred on the 1200 block of E Palm Canyon Drive at around Twelve noon.
A 55-year-old Desert Hot Springs lady who operates in the location was assaulted by a roaming dog on the home, according to Lt. Gustavo Araiza of the Palm Springs Authorities Department.
Araiza stated the dog seemed a Pit Bull Terrier mix that was around 2 years of ages and weighed near 90 pounds.
