LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Alley, a retired Omaha Fire Department dog, got a sweet treat for her effort on the force.
In a post to Facebookthe Omaha Fire Department said Friday that Alley was “checking in” from the “retired shift.”
“She recently got to experience her very first ‘pup cup’ from a local coffee shop and it is safe to say that she loved it!” the fire department composed.
In 2021, Alley ended up being Nebraska’s only ignitable liquid-detection caninelikewise described as an “arson dog,” according to OFD.
During her time with the department, Alley helped with over 100 fire investigationswith a number of leading to an arrest, OFD said.
After her retirement in February, Alley ended up being Fire Investigator Dave Sobotka’s family dog.
