John started efficiently exhibiting and breeding Samoyeds underneath the Seadog prefix within the Nineteen Sixties. He and his spouse, Kathy, bred, owned and dealt with Multiple All-Breed Best In Show and Best In Specialty Show successful Samoyeds. One of John’s most profitable Samoyeds was “Pepper,” MBIS/MBISS CH Polar Mist Dr. Pepper ROM, the Top Owner Handled Best In Show successful Samoyed for a lot of years in addition to the sire of 5 Best In Show winners. Not solely an exhibitor, John was an lively member of the Samoyed Club Of America, serving because the American Kennel Club Delegate for a lot of years, and the Antietam Creek Samoyed Club.
In 1988, John turned an AKC Judge. He was authorised to evaluate Best In Show, the Working and Non-Sporting Groups and a handful of Herding Breeds. John loved judging everywhere in the world. Ever the gentleman, John was beneficiant along with his time and data. He was identified for his kindness – a mentor and buddy to so many within the sport of purebred dogs!
