Andi and Damon Ott state they’re considering Queen Creek for a future Dog Haus area.

Queen Creek locals Andi and Damon Ott are hosting the grand opening tomorrow of their 2nd Dog Haus area in the East Valley.

In 2019, the franchisee owners opened their very first Dog Haus in Gilbert at SanTan Village. Now, they have actually opened a 2,240-square-foot, custom-made Chandler restaurant at 2780 W. Chandler Blvd., which includes a complete bar with 24 turning beers on tap (with a list that stresses regional craft beer favorites) and will serve the brand name’s signature “Haus Cocktails.”

“At present, we hold the advancement rights for 3 extra (Dog Haus) places and are enjoyed continue broadening the Absolute Würst brand name in the East Valley,” said Andi Ott. “As a little family business, we are embracing a progressive method of one-location-at-a-time to make sure each restaurant provides a quality experience that shows our pride. While we haven’t protected our next area yet, Queen Creek is a leading competitor, and preferably it will be our next location.”

The Dog Haus craft casual idea, understood for its distinctive hot dogs, has a comprehensive menu, consisting of premium all beef hot dogs, handmade sausages, humanely-raised, Creekstone Farms Black Angus beef hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, wings and tenders, regional craft beers, breakfast burritos and even plant-based choices.

To commemorate the grand opening, the Ott family is welcoming the neighborhood in for a day filled with giveaways on Saturday, Aug. 5 for “The Absolute Würst” event, beginning at 8 a.m. up until closing time at 2 a.m. Start the early morning at 8 a.m. with totally free Haus burritos for the very first 100 visitors. Plus, take pleasure in $3 boozy breakfast drinks up until 11 a.m. too. Following breakfast specials, stop by for free Haus Dogs beginning at 11 a.m. until closing time at 2 a.m. And even more fun, beginning at 10 p.m., Dog Haus will offer $2 draft pints and well drinks in addition to half off hand-crafted Haus cocktails – created by Phil Wills from Bar Rescue – until close at 2 a.m.

“We are thrilled to open the doors of our second Dog Haus location in the East Valley and can’t wait to continue our involvement in the community with our delicious all beef Haus Dogs, handcrafted proprietary Haus Sausages and Creekstone Farms Black Angus beef burgers,” Andi Ott added. “Our team of both new and veteran employees are excited to be welcomed in Chandler. In addition to the great food and wide selection of craft beers, we have a wonderful dog-friendly patio for all your al fresco dining needs.”

The brand’s mission to sustainably feed everyone who walks through their doors, Dog Haus also offers plant-based burgers from Impossible Foods and sausage proteins from Beyond Meat. The menu also includes crave-worthy sausages, smash-style burgers, corn dogs, chicken sandwiches, wings and tenders, loaded sides, cocktails, beer and shakes. Sausage favorites include The Fonz, which partners a spicy Italian sausage with pastrami and mozzarella cheese, and Das Brat, which features a bratwurst topped with caramelized onions, sauerkraut and spicy brown mustard. All Dog Haus’ sausages and hot dogs are free from added nitrates and nitrites and made with hormone- and antibiotic-free certified Black Angus beef.
