BRYSON CITY, N.C. (WLOS) —
On Sept. 8, 2023, PAWS Bryson City shared surveillance pictures of somebody in a black Jeep. One of the pictures confirmed what seemed to be a puppy in mid-fall from the car’s window.

Shelter staff say they’re now trying to find the thrown canine. Anyone on Bryson Walk or Lemons Branch Road is requested to carry the puppy to the shelter if discovered.
Bryson City Police Department confirmed it obtained a report about this incident and that officers are investigating.
