GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A puppy is recuperating after authorities state it was seriously hurt on a roadway.
On Tuesday, Sabine Elbert, the consumption director at Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta, said she received a message from a regional animal shelter about a puppy with a damaged tibia after being tossed from a car.

“Who even does that??” Elbert composed on GoFundMe.
Elbert and her child got the puppy and brought him to the Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta.
According to the fundraiser, the puppy, recently called Wallace Bowden, has to do with 12 weeks old.

The next day, Elbert said Wallace was required to emergency situation care after he started throwing up and having an increasing temperature level.
Wallace was then required to the Northlake Orthopedic Surgery Center for surgical treatment on his tibia.
According to Elbert, the surgical treatment worked out and Wallace will continue his healing in his foster home.

“We have to keep him as calm as possible so his leg can heal,” Elbert wrote. “It’s a long way to recovery, but well worth it! We got you, little buddy.”
