A puppy and its proprietor needed to be rescued after changing into stranded on the backside of an Anglesey cliff. The coastguard and the RNLI have been referred to as to Lligwy Beach, after the young canine slipped down the cliff and the proprietor scrambled to its assist.
Moelfre Coastguard mentioned they have been alerted at 1.45pm yesterday (Tuesday) “to experiences of a person being lower off on the rocks, with a canine, on the jap facet of Lligwy Beach”. They added: “Team members have been shortly on scene and situated the casualty and canine, each unhurt and caught on the backside of the cliff.
“With the staff planning a potential rope restoration, it was determined that a greater possibility could be to request the help of RNLI Moelfre Lifeboat to gather them from the rocks and return them to the seashore at Lligwy. Moelfre Boathouse have been in a position web page the crew of the inshore lifeboat who launched on service and proceeded to our location.

“The canine it could seem, had slipped down the cliff and turn into caught. The proprietor then scrambled all the way down to retrieve the puppy and had turn into caught themselves and unable to return again to the footpath.
“Thankfully no accidents have been sustained and all belongings have been stood down with thanks.”
