In a horrific incident, a shopkeeper struck a puppy with an iron rod in Pune’s Pimpri-Chinchwad hyperlink highway space. The upsetting incident occurred on April 18 and is presently making headlines on social media. According to Punekar News, a grievance has been filed in opposition to the accused, Gupta, a Pradhikaran resident, on the Pimpri police station by Hitesh Jaipal Kundnani, a 34-year-old Link Road resident. On Pimpri’s hyperlink highway, Gupta is the proprietor of a retailer named Gupta Traders.
A brown and white puppy that often visited the realm in entrance of Gupta’s retailer was subjected to assault, as per the police report. Reportedly, he battered the animal with an iron rod, driving it out of the store and into the pavement. Since the vicious attack, the three-month-old puppy has been admitted to an animal hospital in Wakad for remedy owing to extreme accidents.

The puppy was rendered unconscious and had fractures on account of the beatings. Hitesh Jaipal Kundnani recorded the occasion on his cellphone and subsequently reported it to the Pimpri police.
Under the pertinent provisions of the 1960 Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, the police have filed a case in opposition to Gupta.
