A straying canine has died in a suspected poisoning because the our bodies of two extra dogs had been discovered close by.
An RSPCA investigation is ready to be launched after the deceased canines had been found, together with one which had been buried.
Dog wardens confirmed they had been referred to as to an space close to Newport Bridge in Middlesbrough on Friday (April 12) to reviews of a stray canine.
An unwell Cane Corso/crossbreed was discovered and brought into kennels however died regardless of the efforts of vets on Saturday night.
Vets consider the canine, who was not microchipped, could have been poisoned.

“We are meeting the RSPCA inspector on Monday and they will be investigating this matter. This is a terrible case and something very difficult for our officers to deal with.”
