For almost three weeks, Stephanie Goolsby and the household canine, Prancer, haven’t strayed removed from home, staying nestled within the safety of their yard after she stated they have been attacked whereas out on a walk.
“When this happened, it was just a normal day,” stated Goolsby.
On the morning of March 12, Goolsby and Prancer have been simply a few blocks from home in north Oak Cliff alongside Cedar Hill Avenue.
“A man pulled up in his truck and said, ‘Hey, is that your dog? ‘He pulled up, and I saw the big pit bull,” she stated.
Goolsby stated the canine began shifting in direction of them, and she or he started to run.

Goolsby stated she was advised by Dallas Animal Services that the canine escaped from a close-by home and that its proprietor surrendered it after the attack.
Dallas Police stated the investigation stays ongoing.
