SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities are examining 2 different dog attacks in Sierra Vista that left an 84-year-old lady dead and a 53-year-old man seriously hurt.
Sierra Vista cops said officers reacted to reports of a dog attack in a street Friday early morning.
They reported discovering a dog assaulting Sam Sanches Jr. in the yard of a house.
Officers killed the dog and supplied emergency treatment to Sanchez, who was required to a Tucson healthcare facility where cops said he stayed in vital condition Sunday from his injuries.
Police later on likewise discovered 84-year-old Helene Jackson assaulted by a dog in another street Friday.
Jackson was required to a Tucson medical center where she was noticable dead from her injuries.
Police said the assaulting dog was killed and Jackson’s dog was discovered dead in the street.
The 3 dead dogs in the 2 attacks were required to the Sierra Vista Police Department’s Animal Control Office for additional examination.
