A cops dog found a leaving suspect after officers identified a harmful driver near Swindon.

Officers from Royal Wootton Bassett headed out on patrol in the Cricklade location in the early hours of Sunday early morning and identified a vehicle being driven precariously.

They attempted to stop the car however it sped off and was later on discovered abandoned.

PD Bree tracked the drive to his concealing location in the close-by countryside.

The suspect then fled on foot as the dog approached – and went right into the course of regional neighborhood policing group, who dealt with and apprehended him.

Police apprehended him for driving and drug offenses.

A spokesperson included: “Thankfully no injuries or damage were triggered due to the careless actions of this driver.

“If anybody understands anybodies driving whilst intoxicated by any compound then please contact Police on 101 or the personal Crimestoppers website and help us eliminate this unsafe risk from our roadways.”

Dangerous driving and drink/drug driving are 2 of the most typical reasons for deadly roadway mishaps.

Wiltshire Police Dogs Twitter account highlighted Bree’s efforts in a post applauding the pooch’s fast thinking.
