A police canine was utilized in a search to catch a suspected gasoline thief close to Longbridge island. Police say they pounced on two suspects stealing gasoline from a parked HGV on the A46 close to to Longbridge island final evening (January 14).
While one of many suspects, who has not been recognized, was arrested by Warwickshire Operational Patrol (OPU) members, one other fled.
“One offender was detained and arrested promptly and the opposite ran off,” the staff stated on its web page on Facebook. “The second offender was discovered and arrested following an in depth space search with the help of PD KOKO.”
Both suspects had been taken into custody and their car, a white van, was seized.
