Police canine helps catch fleeing knifeman in Stockton

Beloved police pet Moose has been praised after monitoring down the person who was brandishing a knife. 

The incident occurred on Hartington Road in Stockton at round 9pm on Tuesday, August 29, which noticed police reply to reviews of a person who was doubtlessly in possession of a knife.

Moose and his handler attended the scene and after the male reportedly tried to run, Moose detained him till officers arrived to arrest him.

A 50-year-old man was charged with a public order offence and is because of attend Teesside Magistrates Court on Friday, September 29.
