This is a plea to canine walkers on our street. Although Johnson Point Road is a non-public street, we’ve chosen to not mark it as such and welcome canine walkers and pedestrians. Over half the residents in our street affiliation have dogs and perceive the problem of discovering protected locations to walk beloved pets.
Signage on the high of the street requests that dogs be leashed and their waste cleaned up. We even provide baggage for individuals who might have forgotten theirs. Therefore, it’s disheartening to seek out piles of poop on lawns and alongside the street, and much more disturbing to see fastidiously knotted plastic baggage deserted by the facet of the street or thrown into the shrubbery.
Sometimes, individuals neglect, and we perceive that; nonetheless, it’s starting to appear like individuals simply don’t care. Please, please, not solely bag up your pet’s waste but additionally take it home with you.
