A play ground was left after a ‘big’ and ‘aggressive’ bulldog cut loose and bit its owner.
Police employed a variety of animal specialists, consisting of veterinarians and regional zoos, to bring the animal under control. They handled to bring the 50kg American bulldog under control in a high fenced location of the park, prior to sedating it and moving it to a kennel.
The owner was entrusted ‘bite mark’ injuries. Nobody else was hurt throughout the occurrence, according to North Yorkshire Police. The dog was later on euthanised with the contract of the owner.

In a declaration, the force said: “Police were contacted us to Thorpe Willoughby at around 10.26am on 30 May 2023 to a report of a big, aggressive dog that was biting its owner.
“The dog was ultimately included in a high fenced location of a regional park and the park was left.
“Officers got in touch with a variety of animal specialists consisting of veterinary practices, the RSPCA, regional zoos and wildlife park to demand help with bringing the dog securely under control.
“The dog, referred to as an American bull dog and weighing around 50 kilogrammes, was ultimately sedated by a veterinarian and securely relocated to a kennel.
“No-one, besides the owner of the dog, was hurt throughout the occurrence. Their injuries are referred to as bite marks.
“Officers have actually thanked everybody who helped in bringing the occurrence to a safe conclusion. With the contract of the owner, and after taking veterinary recommendations and examining the threat to all included, the dog was euthanised by a veterinarian.”
