Pete Davidson grieves death of his 2-year-old dog

Pete Davidson is grieving the loss of his 2-year-old dog, Henry. The comic shared a message on his friend’s Instagram page, stating “we lost an essential member of the Davidson family.”

Davidson, 29, does not have social networks however has in the previous published messages for fans through his friend and co-collaborator Dave Sirus. “Henry was just 2 years of ages however regrettably got really ill really quick,” Davidson composed in the Instagram post. “My mama, sis and I got Henry at the start of the pandemic and he saved our lives.”

“Not sure [I’d] even be around without him,” the post continued.


Davidson has been open about his psychological health battles. In 2018, Davidson revealed he had actually been detected the previous year with borderline character condition. Last year, Sirus shared a post from Davidson following comic Bob Saget’s death. Davidson said Saget assisted him “make it through some rough psychological health things.”

In his post about Henry, Davidson said when he was on “Saturday Night Live,” his mama would send him videos of Henry seeing the program “smiling and making sounds” when Davidson began screen.

“I do not ever truly view any of my things with anybody as I’m far too afraid however I didn’t mind seeing with Henry,” he composed. “He was genuinely the very best.”

The post consisted of images of and videos of Davidson, his mama and his sis with Henry. He said they are “sad” and “will miss him permanently.”

“Thank you for making our lives fuller and advising me what in fact matters,” he said.

Davidson did not share additional information about what triggered Henry’s death.

Sirus was an author on “Saturday Night Live” while Davidson was on the program and the set likewise composed the semi-autobiographical movie “King of State Island” and Davidson’s brand-new funny series “Bupkis” together.
