A group of people expecting more public areas for dogs in Penticton will provide their case to city board next week.
People for Penticton Pets will look like a delegation at the upcoming Tuesday, Aug. 15 council conference, at 1 p.m. Council will have the chance to ask concerns of the delegation, must they want.
The group is asking anybody who supports the objective of having much better dog parks and beaches in the city to go to City Hall as quiet assistance.
Dogs are welcomed to go to too, as long as they are well acted, on a brief leash and peaceful.
“This implies sitting silently with you at your feet while you listen,” checks out a social networks post from among the organizers, Lisa Fox.
Anyone wishing to participate assistance is asked to show up beyond City Hall at 12:50 p.m. to collaborate.
The main delegation will consist of Jane Thornthwaite, Lisa Fox and Anne Marie Savard. The group says it is grateful that council is offering the chance to share.
