A Palm Beach County man is in custody and dealing with a number of fees after investigators stated he killed his ex-wife’s canine after which let her find out about it with a cellphone name.
Deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded Sept. 22 to the 13500 block of forty first Lane North, which is close to Loxahatchee Groves, relating to the killing of a canine.
The sheriff’s workplace stated they decided that Delmin Echeverria, 43, drove to his ex-wife’s home, pulled as much as the fence related to the residence and stabbed her canine within the neck.
No one was home on the time of the incident.
Echeverria then referred to as his ex-wife and suggested her that he killed her canine, in keeping with the sheriff’s workplace. The man’s ex-wife then drove home and located the lifeless canine on the aspect of the residence.
Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control responded to the home and recovered the canine for a necropsy, which decided that the canine’s jugular was severed and the canine bled out.
Echeverria was positioned and arrested Sept. 23. He faces fees of housebreaking to a dwelling whereas armed, aggravated animal cruelty and prison mischief.
He is being held on the predominant Palm Beach County jail.
