Pacific Beach bike intruder family pets dog prior to leaving criminal offense scene

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A break-in suspect who took a bike from a garage took his sweet time prior to leaving the scene of the criminal offense, providing the home’s Golden Retriever parting family pets while doing so.

The San Diego Police Department published a surveillance video on social networks in an effort to gather brand-new leads in the event. The theft occurred around 10:40 p.m. on July 15 in a Pacific Beach community, SDPD says.

The suspect, a white man, took a 2019 black Electra 3-speed bike, which costs about $1,300. Police kept in mind the bike has determining functions making it stick out: It has 8-ball caps on the tire valves, an 8-ball logo design on the frame and a checkered, black-and-white pattern on the rear-wheel frame.

The suspect was last seen using a blue and white hat, a gray t-shirt, blue shorts and orange athletic shoes, SDPD says and the video reveals. He was likewise bring a black and blue knapsack.

SDPD is asking anybody who might acknowledge the intruder or bike to provide information that might help them recognize the suspect.
