WILLIAMSPORT — The Lycoming County lady who admitted abandoning a male German shepherd in frigid situations has been placed on 30 months probation throughout which she might not personal a pet.

“He’s lucky to never have to see that woman’s face again. There is no punishment great enough for what this woman did to this poor dog.

“As I said in the beginning, I’m here to speak on behalf of Lucky because I’m sure if he could speak for himself, he would ask for [the] stiffest punishment this court can compose.

“This court can speak for Lucky as well. This court can send a clear-cut message that this won’t be tolerated in Lycoming County.

“Do it for Lucky and do it for any other dog that could ever be put in his position.”

Lucky has totally recovered from his ordeal, SPCA govt director Alyssa Correll mentioned.

As required by state legislation as a result of Waldman pleaded responsible to a felony, Tira ordered her to forfeit the canine to the SPCA in whose custody it has been because it was discovered.
