SANFORD, Fla. – Day by day, an adorable puppy was passed over for adoption at a Seminole County animal shelter. But days prior to Sophie marked a complete year at the shelter, the 7-year-old dog lastly discovered her permanently home.
On Thursday, the shelter published a heartbreaking time-lapse video to social networks, revealing Sophie inside her kennel, and regularly being neglected by households trying to find younger dogs.
The video was shared on Facebook numerous times, reaching countless individuals.

“It type of offered the perspective of the dog. You got to see what she sees every day. People reoccuring, walking by her cage. Sometimes not even stopping to state hi,”
Bree Burkett, Seminole County adoption planner, said.
Once Seminole County Animal Services shared that time-lapse video of Sophie, she was embraced within 24 hr.
The shelter published an image online of her with her brand-new papa.
Sophie isn’t the only animal whose needed to live within the shelter long-lasting.
Shelter authorities are enthusiastic individuals will continue to step up and offer the furry buddies a home.
