Phoenix, the merle border collie who was inside a ute when his house owners had been attacked and the automobile stolen, had been discovered secure and sound.
Police stated the canine’s house owners, a 43-year-old lady and her 17-year-old daughter, had been assaulted on Thursday afternoon within the Townsville suburb of Kelso, earlier than the ute was taken with the family pet in the back seat.
It’s the third violent attack within the metropolis within the final fortnight, and the second time a household pet has been taken in a Queensland automobile theft in lower than six months.
