One of two puppies rescued off the streets of Dublin earlier this week has sadly died.

Ruby Rose and James had been rescued by a member of the general public on Wednesday earlier than being rushed to the DSPCA. Ruby Rose had Hydrocephalus, a build up of fluid on the mind, whereas her brother James was lacking his proper eye and his left eye was deformed.




James was additionally displaying indicators of deafness. The DSPCA mentioned that workers had been “distraught” after seeing the puppies and their vet Ruth took them home as they required across the clock care.

Sadly, Ruby Rose has since handed away. The DSPCA mentioned on social media: “It’s simply heartbreaking however we will solely be grateful that she didn’t die alone and was cuddled up beside her brother.

“Little James is now preventing to outlive and we simply hope that he grows stronger over the subsequent few days. Please assist with James’ care and donate immediately.”
