Instances of sporting golf equipment having to cope with the scourge of canine poo have gotten increasingly more frequent.
Most not too long ago, rugby membership Old Penarthians posted a “polite request to dogwalkers” to scrub up after their pets.
In September, the father or mother of a six-year-old at Barry Rugby Club posted a photograph of their youngster having completed enjoying a sport of rugby, with an enormous chunk of canine poo on their shoulder.
Back in May, chairman of Penarth Cricket Club Mark Frost made an impassioned plea to dog walkers to maintain off the pitch at Penarth Athletic Field in order that males, ladies and youngsters having fun with cricket, soccer or rounders, don’t find yourself with muck on their completely white whites.
It irked Mr Frost a lot he went all the way in which to the BBC’s Dot Davies’ radio present to make the purpose that folks have to clear up after their pets.
In the latest occasion, Old Penarthians posted a message on their Instagram on Sunday, October 15, saying there has already been a number of cases of canine mess mucking up proceedings this season.
Old Penarthians mentioned: “We are making an enormous plea to all native canine walkers to please take duty on your dogs when walking them at Cwrt-y-Vil and clear up after them.
“Already this season we have had several incidents involving players (both adult and children) due to mess left on the pitches.”

Mr Frost mentioned this was affecting youngsters’ enthusiasm to take up sport.
“Think, if you’re a kid who has just taken up the game and you come across dog mess, it’s going to put you off that experience,” he mentioned.
Mr Frost urged folks, don’t walk on the pitch.
“Please keep dogs on the lead and if there are boundary lines, please do not go over them.”
The Old Penarthians echoed this assertion whereas saying they know it’s only some messing it up for a lot of.
“We appreciate that this plea is aimed at a very small minority and that most of our local dog walkers take full responsibility when walking their dogs.”
