Denver Nuggets ahead Aaron Gordon returned to follow on Sunday after sustaining lacerations to his face and proper capturing hand when he was bitten by a household canine on Christmas.
He told The Denver Post that he feels able to play in Monday’s home recreation in opposition to the Charlotte Hornets.
“I really like dogs. I grew up with dogs my complete life,” Gordon instructed the newspaper. “But as a result of we’re on the highway a lot, my dad’s taking good care of him, so I am unable to actually practice him how I would like him to be. … But I really feel good. Everything is okay.”
Gordon has missed the final two video games due to his accidents.
He’s averaging 13.6 factors and 6.9 rebounds for the defending NBA champions. He had 16 factors and 10 rebounds in a 120-114 win over the Golden State Warriors on Christmas.
