NOTICE OF INTENTION TO DECLARE AREAS – Dog Control Act 2000

Clarence City Council provides discover of its intention to make declarations beneath the Dog Control Act 2000 that apply to areas laid out in Council’s Dog Management Policy 2021 (Schedule of Declared Areas).

Greyhound Off-leash and Vulnerable Dog Exercise Areas South Street Reserve, 34A and 34B South Street, Bellerive.

Changes to current declared areas throughout the fenced components of South Street Reserve proven on the related plans, to declare:

  • the world proven in purple a Restricted Area, a situation of use of which is that greyhounds are the one dogs permitted within the restricted space and could also be exercised off-leash and un-muzzled; 
  • the world proven in yellow a Restricted Area, a situation of use of which is that vulnerable dogs (being dogs that are small, geriatric or experiencing or recovering from an damage or sickness) are the one dogs permitted within the restricted space and could also be exercised off-leash;
  • the world proven in teal an Exercise Area, a situation of use of which is that dogs could also be exercised off-leash on this space at occasions the world shouldn’t be being utilized by the Eastern Shore Dog Club in accordance with its lease phrases; and
