Alison Donnell, who lives in Mount Pleasant, realized that her three-year-old Goldendoodle – known as Juno – had been attacked by one other canine at Earlham Park whereas she was on vacation.
Alison’s dogsitter, Jackie Eastaugh, was walking Juno on August 31 at round 11am close to Earlham Park Café when the incident occurred.

Jackie, 67, mentioned: “I used to be walking in the direction of the woods near UEA and there have been a few ladies sitting on the café seats.
“A Golden Labrador got here working in the direction of Juno and one of many girl shouted ‘she could go for her’.
“Before I knew it she had bitten Juno.
“I managed to get her away however she felt actually poorly due to an an infection from the chew.
“I felt terrible as a result of Juno is such a beautiful natured canine.
“If the proprietor knew she may go after Juno, why wasn’t the canine on a lead?”
After multiple trips to the vets, Alison has constructed up a invoice of £2,000.
Alison, a professor of recent literatures at UEA, mentioned: “Things aren’t nice in the intervening time as a result of the wound is taking some time to heal.
“It’s one puncture wound, however there was an abscess that needed to be flushed out and cleaned, so now it is about 12cm.
“It’s horrible Juno has needed to undergo this and I’m unsure if there can be any long-term results on her character – she has such a lovely, trusting nature – so we do not know but.
“I’ve taken Juno to the park since we have had her, mainly day-after-day, as a result of I’ve at all times felt secure and there are accountable house owners there.

“But this has made me really feel very anxious about walking her across the park sooner or later.
“I’m extraordinarily indignant and upset on the proprietor of the Labrador for not taking responsibilty.
“If they cannot management it why is it not both muzzled or on a lead? They had been oblivious and confirmed no concern about what occurred.”
