10 LAKE AREA, Minn. — A young northern Minnesota woman had actually been playing in her backyard Thursday early morning when a dog assaulted her, leaving her with serious injuries, authorities state.
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office says emergency situation reaction teams were dispatched to the 17000 block of Mission Road Southeast at roughly 9:42 a.m. for a three-year-old woman who had actually been assaulted by a dog.
The woman had actually been playing in her backyard with her mom when the attack happened.
EMS transferred the woman to Cass Lake Indian Health Services, where she was then flown to a health center in Fargo, North Dakota for more treatment.
