No expenses shall be filed in opposition to the proprietor of three dogs that attacked a Fort Dodge lady on Nov. 24, in accordance Webster County Attorney Darren Driscoll.
According to a press release from Driscoll, the investigation following the vicious attack revealed nothing to “indicate that any criminal act occurred.” The lady was contained in the home of the canine proprietor, alone with the animals, when she was attacked, he mentioned.
“This is a shocking tragedy and we wish the victim strength as she recuperates from her injuries,” Driscoll mentioned.
Fort Dodge Police Officers had been dispatched to the 800 block of South sixteenth Street at about 11:25 a.m. on Nov. 24 after Webster County 911 dispatchers acquired a name from an individual stating they might hear somebody yelling for assist.
A responding officer arrived and located a girl being attacked by three dogs and after unsuccessfully attempting to scare the dogs off, the officer shot all three dogs a number of instances to cease the attack.
The lady, who has not been publicly recognized by authorities, sustained critical accidents and later airlifted to Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
