It all unfolded around 4:45 p.m. when the victim, a dog walker, pulled into the car park of Mavis Discount Tire at 77 Bloomfield Ave.
Less than 5 minutes later on, cops state a black or grey Acura MDX with possible momentary tags got in the car park and brought up best beside the victim’s SUV.
The suspect left the guest side of the Acura, approached the victim’s car and took the 3 dogs out of the rear guest window. He stops at one point when a client exists the store.
The taken dogs consist of 2 Yorkies called Buddy and Champ and the 3rd dog that is a Schnauzer called Charley.
By 4:51 p.m., the Acura was seen leaving the car park and heading east on Bloomfield Avenue towards Newark.
The owner of the Schnauzer, Tamara Larmond, says she’s sad as she strolls alone after her dog was taken.
“I simply desire him back, they do not comprehend just how much this is harming,” she said. “They do not understand that they took more than simply a dog from me, they took my kid, they took my heart, they took my buddy.”
