A New York state animal management officer was arrested after promoting a stolen pet and telling the proprietor that the animal had died, authorities have stated.
Scott Casterline, 51, was arrested on Thursday and charged in reference to stealing the canine, a nine-year-old Yorkshire terrier known as Hope, and later promoting it whereas working as an animal management officer, according to a press release from the Steuben county sheriff’s workplace.
