New Rochelle officers rescue abandoned dog stuck in a drain
Officers in New Rochelle are being commemorated for conserving an abandoned dog stuck in a drain.
The Humane Society of Westchester at New Rochelle says the dog, whose name is Leonardo, was using a harness and a leash when he was rescued – however had no ID or a microchip.
Officers utilized their supper to draw Leonardo close enough to be rescued from the sewage system.
Leonardo is now being looked after at the Humane Society.
