Moundsville’s new canine park is open and anticipated to stay open by the winter months for pet house owners to make use of.
The canine park is a part of Riverfront Park and located beside the playground space, close to Jackson Avenue and 14th Street. There are two fenced-in areas – one for bigger dogs and one other for smaller dogs.

Moundsville City Manager Rick Healy stated residents had been asking for a canine park to be created for a couple of years. He famous the park has been properly obtained up to now.
