BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Video of a Broken Arrow police officer charged with tasing and pepper spaying a canine in his neighborhood continues to be circulated round social media. The Wagoner County District Attorney has since charged William Ray Golden with a felony and misdemeanor cost for the incident.

“I heard Mr. Golden shedding his cool,” Westbrook advised 2 News. ” I simply kinda seemed over and was like, what the heck’s occurring?”

Westbrook did not report Golden hitting, kicking, and tasing the canine. We came upon from Golden’s legal affidavit it was his different neighbor’s English bulldog, ‘Rusty.’

Rusty later jumped in Golden’s police automotive. Phone out now, Westbrook woke her husband, and he intervened by throwing a towel on rusty to distract him.

“My husband went over there to get this canine out, and the officer is okay with it and the whole lot, and he stored saying he was going to shoot the canine,” Westbrook stated.

Westbrook says her husband contained Rusty, however Rusty returned, and Golden bought angrier. She says she watched him pull out his gun.

“He type of pointed it randomly on the market,” she stated. “He did not level it at us – and he began walking angrily towards the canine, and when he bought to the canine, I rotated.”

Westbrook says Golden did not shoot Rusty, But he was left with accidents.

According to the affidavit, there is no report of Rusty being an aggressive canine.

Westbrook says Golden ignored her for a number of days after and came upon an unfaithful story was circulating, so she turned him into the Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office. Golden was charged final Friday.

“We determined if that is the integrity he has, we will report it,” Westbrook stated.

2 News known as Golden to share his facet of the story however has not heard again.

Westbrook tells 2 News Rusty might be okay with correct care. She says he is been having each day seizures and anxiousness for the reason that incident.
