WYANDANCH, N.Y. — Two North Carolina males are dealing with prices after police in New York discovered 19 puppies in what they described as “deplorable conditions.”
The two males are charged with 19 counts of neglect of an impounded animal, the Suffolk County Police Department stated.
On Friday evening in Wyandanch, Suffolk County officers discovered 19 puppies in two crates inside a 2022 Jeep Compass parked in a car parking zone.
Police stated the pit bulls have been with out adequate air, shelter, meals and water. According to the police, the puppies have been coated in feces too.
Authorities took the dogs to native animal shelters.
