Native shelter working to assist canine discovered deserted, tied to tree in McCandless park

“Neighbors believe in hindsight now that the dog has been roped to that tree overnight because they had heard barking,” mentioned McCandless Police Chief Ryan Hawk.

Josie has no chip or tags. Police are on the lookout for the person answerable for leaving her tied up.

Police turned the canine over to the West Deer Township canine shelter.

“And every little bit helps. I don’t care whether people donate a dollar or a thousand dollars it all adds up,” mentioned Barb Pasquale. “She is such a great dog I don’t know how you can give up on something like this I just don’t.”
