A bemused Edinburgh native has shared her pleasure at discovering a piano situated on the rocks at Wardie Bay within the Granton space of the capital.
Fiona Leith was out walking her canine over lunchtime on Wednesday January 17 when she needed to scratch her eyes in disbelief after she noticed piano on the Breakwater.
The pristine piano had mysteriously appeared by the seaside alongside a miraculous velvet stool.

“I walk my canine alongside Wardie Bay each day and this lunchtime I noticed a piano on the horizon,” Fiona stated.
“As I received nearer, I realised that it was completely positioned on the Breakwater and even had a velvet stool beside it.

“It was such a stunningly vivid day, and the piano seemed so grand sitting there within the contemporary air that it brightened my complete day.
“I attempted to play it, however there was no tune, so I sat my canine Bessie on the stool and loved the enjoyable of seeing one thing so cheerful on such a chilly day.
“Someone has instructed that it may need been for a music video, however I’m unsure.”
Local social media group, Wardie Bay Residents commented that the piano was utilized in a video of Glaswegian pianist Sophie Joint, who was a finalist for the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician award.

Fiona fortunately shared snaps she took of the piano alongside together with her 4 legged good friend – though the pooch appeared unable to crank out a tune as a result of freezing temperatures impacting its paws.
