MUTTS Canine Cantina El Paso, in collaboration with Train to Serve Canine Academy and KLAQ, has introduced the launch of the “MUTTS for Vets” program.
A guided coaching program with Train to Serve Canine ranges from $250 monthly, with reductions available for navy personnel. The program will supply two educated service dogs to veterans within the Borderland space at no cost to them.
With the cost of coaching and pairing a service animal with an proprietor typically reaching as much as $25,000, MUTTS initiated this to help native veterans in want.
Their purpose is rooted of their dedication to giving again to the neighborhood and honoring those that have served the nation.
MUTTS is inviting veterans residing in El Paso County or Las Cruces to appoint themselves or others for this system.
Nominations are open now till Thursday, April eleventh, 2024, at 11:59 PM. Winners will likely be introduced on April fifteenth.
Selected veterans have to be current for an interview in the course of the first week of May at MUTTS Canine Cantina El Paso’s Grand Opening Event.
