On Oct. 7, many dogs may have their day on the Mutt Strut, a fundraiser that doubles as a fall frolic for pets.
The Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society is celebrating the occasion’s 17th year on the Navy Yard. Starting at 10 a.m., registrants can enter the grounds and one hour later, the scenic “strut” begins in South Philly. Once they have their walk in, dogs can check out an agility course, pose for a photograph sales space or get their paw prints painted.
