A mother has actually supposedly been hospitalised after she was assaulted by an American XL Bully while pressing her child in a pram.
The occurrence took place in Askern, near Doncaster, on Thursday 17 August, cops said, including the dog had actually been taken by officers.
The 28-year-old lady was required to a neighboring healthcare facility, where she stays in a steady however severe condition, South Yorkshire cops said.
The lady, who hasn’t been recognized by cops, was pressing the pram when an unaccompanied dog, believed to be an American XL Bully, assaulted her.
She supposedly suffered severe injuries to her arms.
An eyewitness explained the “awful” scene, including the dog “was all over her and she was screaming”.
A representative for South Yorkshire cops informed The Mirror: “It is believed that the victim, a 28-year-old woman was walking her dog down the street, while pushing her child in a pram when she was approached by a loose dog.
“The dog, believed to be an XL Bully breed, is alleged to have caused serious injury to the woman’s arms. She has been taken to hospital by ambulance, where she remains in a stable but serious condition. Firearms and dog officers attended the scene and seized the dog.”
An eyewitness informed the Doncaster Free Press: “It was absolutely awful. The dog was all over her and she was screaming. It just kept going at her.”
Earlier this year, a six-year-old boy was hospitalised with possibly “life-changing” injuries after he was assaulted by an American Staffordshire terrier in Highfields, Doncaster.
In March in 2015, a newborn was whipped to death by her moms and dads’ Siberian Husky throughout an attack in forest at Ostler’s Plantation near Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire.
Her moms and dads Vince King and Karen Alcock were spared prison, as a judge at Lincoln Crown Court handed the set suspended sentences.
