TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Morgan Fox, owner of Morgan’s Dog Training, dropped in WCTV to share practical pointers on dealing with a dog embraced from the shelter.

Morgan said it’s important to keep in mind the 3, 3, 3 guideline. She said it takes approximately 3 days for a dog not to be in battle or flight mode, 3 weeks for a dog to start trusting you and 3 months prior to you begin to see a dog’s genuine character. She said that this can vary with dogs who might have experienced injury.

Gentry, the puppy in the sector, is a puppy that is available to be embraced at Tallahassee Animal Services. He is 7 years of ages and enjoys kids and other dogs. His adoption page can be found here. All animals looking for their forever home can be found here.
