MONROE, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the general public’s help in finding a man who connected a female dog to an indication post in Monroe.
Authorities state at about 1:01 a.m. on June 28, the man connected the pit bull mix to a post at the Humane Society of Monroe County on N. Telegraph Road.
Surveillance video revealed the man walking the dog with a leash in the car park prior to connecting it and walking away. Humane Society staff discovered the animal at about 7:10 a.m. that exact same day.
The constable’s workplace says the dog, which has actually been called Mandy, was dealt with by a vet and is approximated to be 2 years of ages. Authorities think puppies might have just recently nursed from her due to her lactating and having scratches along her mammary chain.
Officials state Mandy remains in a momentary foster home and is referred to as distressed and displaying separation stress and anxiety.
