A Miami-Dade worker was hospitalized after being bitten by a dog Tuesday early morning, authorities said.
The event happened at 211 Southwest 9th Avenue in the City of Miami.
Miami Police authorities said the victim was serving documents and was bitten in the ear and the butts by a dog.
The victim was transferred to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where they remained in steady condition, Miami Fire Rescue authorities said. Their identity wasn’t launched.
Police said they do not understand what kind of dog bit the victim.
Miami-Dade County Animal Services dispatched an animal well-being officer to the scene.
