ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Two native dogs are enjoying within the Puppy Bowl.
Sadie and Indigo are the native rescue dogs who can be competing within the Puppy Bowl. The two groups, staff Ruff and Fluff, are made up completely of shelter and rescue dogs from 36 states.
Sadie was nominated by the Humane Society of St. Louis to take part within the Puppy Bowl. At the time of her nomination, Sadie was being fostered by Richard and Linda Meyer. Since the Puppy Bowl was recorded, Sadie was adopted by the Meyers.
Indigo was nominated by the Five Acres Animal Shelter in St. Charles. Since Indigo performed within the Puppy Bowl, she has been adopted.
