The Maui Humane Society is urgently asking for the neighborhood’s help to offer momentary houses for dogs that are presently housed at the shelter.
Maui Humane Society presently has 105 dogs in their care–that’s well beyond the kennel capability of 40 dogs at the center. Dogs are being combined in kennels to make extra area.
In these minutes of high population, Maui Humane Society signals “SOS Foster” which asks anybody in the neighborhood to foster an animal. Individuals do not require previous experience plus they get the needed materials, entirely complimentary of charge. There is no pressure to adopt through SOS Foster and the quantity of time the animal remains in your home depends on their schedule. Furthermore, other methods the neighborhood can help is through adoption, Paws-to-Adopt (10-day adoption trial), Dog as needed program and help getting the word out.
In order to resolve the overpopulation problem, Maui Humane Society will be open up until 7 p.m. on
Friday, Feb. 17 to use the neighborhood more chance to see and visit their animals for adoption and foster. All adoptions will be sponsored by Petco Love and there will be Valentine’s Day themed activities, consisting of a puppy kissing cubicle.
Whether you are single or in a multi-family household, checking out Maui in dog-friendly lodgings, are a part-time citizen, or are searching for a no-commitment animal, any and all accessibility and attention is valued.
All dogs on the website are available for “SOS Foster.” Maui Humane Society is
found off Maui Veterans Highway and open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., plus open late on Feb. 17
(7 p.m.).
