Judge James McNulty made the remark when convicting Piotr Barglik of the theft of ham, butter and pet food from a Bandon grocery store.

Sgt Trish O’Sullivan advised the courtroom that the offence occurred in Lidl in Bandon on March 18th final at 1.37pm when the defendant entered the grocery store and put the meals objects and pet food, valued at €13.92, right into a bag and left with out paying for the objects.
