The Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday arraigned a person, Gabriel Olayiwola, for allegedly unleashing his German shepherd canine on a police officer, ASP Oyagbola Jelili, on the Ikotun Egbe space of Lagos State.
The 30-year-old was arraigned earlier than Magistrate O. Y. Adefope of a Magistrates’ Court in Yaba, on three counts of wilful harm of properties and menace to life.
Olayiwola was mentioned to have unleashed the canine on the policeman who was at his residence on March 1, 2023, to arrest him after he broken his co-tenant’s BMW X5 2013 mannequin automobile valued at N3m throughout a disagreement.
