A man needed to be required to health center after supposedly being bitten by a Pitbull-type dog.
At around 2pm last Friday, the victim was approached and assaulted while he was walking in a cleaning through a meadow off Capstone Road in Chatham.
He was entrusted to deep injuries on his lower arm which needed health center treatment.
Now officers are appealing for witnesses who might identify the description of the dog walker and animal.
The individual is referred to as being white, of a medium build, in his late 20s and around 5ft7in to 5ft9in.

He was using a grey flat capped hat and black pants.
The dog was being strolled on a long lead and is referred to as sandy/golden coloured.
